Hello Everyone!
I’m happy to report that isolation is going very well for us as a nation and specifically, our ministry has maintained good health. Since we cannot leave the base we have become quite creative with how to steward our desire to share the gospel.
For example: I am excited to be a part of pioneering a brand new team within the ministry that focuses on communication. I’m learning new things everyday; such as website design, blog writing, and coming up with unique ways to advertise through videos and social media. I have a huge desire to get the word out about how God has been moving in my own life and in the lives of hundreds of other people that have been transformed by the work God is doing through Marine Reach.
I’m personally doing very well. My schedule is still quite full (which I am very grateful for) as I spend half my day with the students doing worship/intercession, Bible studies, discipleship, and the other half of my day I work with the communications team. With that said, since we don’t need to run errands or take care of as many students as we did previously, my evenings have been more freed up which has been a very nice change of pace. It’s been a joy for me to have more time to spend in the Word. My quiet times with the Lord have been so sweet as he has loved, encouraged and challenged me in this season. It has also been really fun to have time at the end of the day to play games as a community and engage in getting to know one another better.
