Hello friends and family,

Amy and I just returned from a wonderful four-week visit to America, where we had the opportunity to spend time with her family. It was a refreshing and uplifting time for both of us.

One of the highlights of our trip was attending the wedding of our dear friends, Anika and Isaiah. It was a beautiful wedding and we were honoured to be a part of their special day. Being able to catch up with our friends and share in their joy was a true blessing. And the few days we spent in New York were really restful.

During our time in America, we went and got an ultrasound scan to find out the gender of our baby. We are delighted to announce that we are expecting a baby girl! We are grateful for God’s blessings and for the opportunity to embark on this new chapter of our lives as parents.

Prior to our trip to America, Amy made the decision to take a break from work due to stress-induced Irritable bowl syndrome, intense fatigue, and difficulty sleeping. Amy is feeling much better now, but we believe it’s important for her to fully recover and take a step back for the health of our baby and to ensure both are protected.

Meanwhile, I have continued in the office on an exciting project. I am developing an app that will streamline and enhance our process for handling future student applications. It will help our internal communication and make sure all the necessary people are informed about what (or who) is coming in future schools. I’ve quite enjoyed the freedom I have to dig deep and learn skills like coding to use in ministry.

In other news, our outreach teams have returned from their mission trips to Vanuatu, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. It has been incredible to have them back and listen to the amazing stories of their experiences with God.

As we continue our journey, we are filled with gratitude for the love, prayers, and support we have received from all of you. Thank you for standing with us and being a part of our lives. A special thank you to everyone who has blessed us with gifts for our daughter! We are so excited to start buying all the baby things.

Be Blessed,

Silas and Amy
